Test Recipe #5- Grilled Salmon Steaks with Honey-Mustard Sauce

Not the best picture...sorry!

Salmon steaks (or, if like us you can't find steaks, fillets) marinated in a mix of olive oil, white wine, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, sweet onion and garlic, for thirty minutes.

Get the grill going, to a medium fire.

Melt butter in a saucepan, add shallots and saute till softened. Remove from heat and add mustard, honey and soy sauce.

Oil grill, and cook salmon four or five inches over heat, just a few minutes. Turn, spread some of the mustard sauce over fish. Cook a few more minutes, or until salmon is opaque in center.

Serve fish with remaining sauce.

This was Matt's favorite of all eight recipes. Of course, he just loves salmon...but still, he really liked this one!

And this concludes my recipe-testing. Enjoy...

Test Recipe #4: Noodle Kugel

Ricotta, sugar, eggs and milk, mixed. Add uncooked egg noodles and golden raisins. Pour into a baking dish, and chill in the fridge overnight.
Before baking, sprinkle top with a cinnamon-sugar mix. Bake, covered with foil, about half an hour. Remove foil, bake another forty. Serve warm.
